At a typical Thanksgiving dinner we usually go to my Aunt's house. I see ligonberry jam, Swedish meatballs, cream sauce, and potatoes because I am making a traditional Swedish dish for an appetizer. My mother is also there and my aunt and they are making the main dish for our feast. I hear my cousins crying because they are only babies, also I hear turkey roasting and my brother bothering everyone. I taste vegaterian turkey which tastes disgusting and then I wish I wasn't a pescaterian anymore. I also taste fruit and vegtables. I smell turkey, fish, and vegaterian turkey roasting. I feel a fork and spoon even though I probably only need my fork I still have to hand out spoons in the table wear.

Every Thanksgiving I go to Steamboat and stay in an condo with my family.I see the steam rising from the hot spring and skiiers. I hear horns of cars honking and the kids playing in the snow. I taste the sweet exotic gelato from the ice cream shopp that is two blocks away and the mushy,salty mash potatoes. I smell the greasy gravy and the perfectly seasoned turkey and stuffing. I joyful and sad to leave. That is a typical Thanksgiving for me.

On Thanksgiving I smell the wonderful fall smells as well as the turkey roasting. I feel the most joy I've ever felt in my whole life with all my family suronding me. I embrace every minuet of them being with me. It truly is the hapiest time of the year.

I look out the window and red, brown, yellow, and orange, covering the ground. We all sit down for this wonderful dinner of rhanks and joy. As we start dishing up food, I am caught in a day dream of the amazing turkey. I hear everybody chatting as we pass aroung the food. I see everyone in my family that lives in Colorado hurrying around the kitchen, trying to get the feast on the large table. Mom's the best at cooking poultry, with great spices and recipies. Dad makes stuffing, all buttery and delicious. Everyone makes something and it comes together. The smells make my mouth water and pretty soon my cousins and I are staring at the beautifully prepared food. There's turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy (my FAVORITE). After I've eaten my fill, I play and talk until pie, ice crean and other desserts are served. Everybody talking, laughing, telling stories, and catching up makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. Everything is perfect.

Each year if I spend thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family then we celebrate Christmas with my dad's side. It could be the other way around though. I always love thanksgiving because it smells and tastes like a fancy meal. I llllllllllove the food! A typical thanksgiving would have pumpkin pie and peacon pie. I only like Pumpkin Pie with a little bit of wip cream. Delicous! Thanks giving is the only time a year I have that big of a meal.

We usually like to cook a turkey, mashed or twice baked potatoes with gravy, some vegis and a nice warm slice of bread and butter. Every year we love eating this meal in a time of thanks. One thing we always do is go around the table and say what or who we are thankful for. It is nice to hear what everyone is thankful for. We end the meal with a desert. Some times it is a german chocolate cake, some times it is some cupcakes or maybe it is a pecan pie. I love spending this time of thanks with my family! KYLIE

W e make a delicious dinne and there is so much to eat. It is all soo deicious. It is all amazing but personaly the cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie are my favorites. I see ligonberry jam, Swedish meatballs, cream sauce, and potatoes because I am making a traditional Swedish dish for an appetizer. My mother is also there and my aunt and they are making the main dish for our feast. I hear my cousins crying because they are only babies, also I hear turkey roasting and my brother bothering everyone. I taste vegaterian turkey which tastes disgusting and then I wish I wasn't a pescaterian anymore. I also taste fruit and vegtables. I smell turkey, fish, and vegaterian turkey roasting. I feel a fork and spoon even though I probably only need my fork I still have to hand out spoons in the table wear.

'That looks soooo delicious' I say as I lick my lips. I sit at the table with my sister eating my breakfast. Time passes by very quickly. By the time dinner is ready it is about 7:00. The table is arranged with of course the juicy turkey,stuffing,corn, and drinks. My sister and I have a platfull of delicious food. Time to dig in. 'MMMMMMM' we all say. After dinner we all have pumpkin pie. That is my typical Thanksgiving with my family!

I'm licking my lips just looking at it. The mashed potatoes are my favorite. The food just melts right in my mouth. It's delicous. At the beginnig I feel like I could eat a horse. But at the end i'm so filled I can't even open my mouth. The smell rises up in my face so warm and yummy. My cold fork freezes my hand but my hand feels fine after I feel the warm Thanksgiving turkey warms my mouth. My Thanksgiving experience is beyond compare.

We say grace then we eat our turkey, gravy, and pie. After that we stay up late playing games. Me and my sister sometimes go to play on the x-box. Once it is super late we go to bed. When we sit down to eat i eat some crisp warm turkey, And some pumpkin pie is soft and really yummy. it is also warm. I smell many foods sitting on the table. There is the smell of turkey and garlic bread in the air. I feel happy and thankful that we have all of this food and that we are not homeless and that we are a happy and wealthy family.

It will be so much fun playing games and having the feast.I can almost taste it. My favorite part of the feast is the stuffing. All of us might have a cake for dessert, including pumpkin pie!

At my grandma's house my cousins and I play in my grandma's basement and try to keep my annoying little cousin OUT!!!! But we don't only celebrate Thanksgiving we also celebrate my Bithday!! On a ticaple Thanks Giving all my cuasans ant's, uncels, and my famliy go to our grand parent's hous. Always the frist thing we do is play a football game. The only kids that don't play are my yongest cousan(6years old),my sister(14 years old),and my other cuasan a gril (9 years old). The teams are usally me ,Tanner(11 years old), CJ(17 years old). His real name is Cameron and his midlle name is James. So he just gos by Cj. After that we wath a football game and eat the turkey!

On Thanksgiving I sit at the table and see my family talking laughing and smiling. We all go to a neighborhood football game called the turkey bowl there is a hot chocolate cart and lots of donuts. After the turkey bowl we go to our house with my whole family including both of my grandparents. We gather around the table and say thank you to everybody. Then we eat. We always have giant feast on thanksgiving turkey stuffing pies anything you can think of. Me and my mom make the dinner and the desert. I think the food is amazing. That what the looks on everybody's faces tells me. We all love tasting the yummy gravy and turkey. But of cores what is Thanksgiving without a homemade pie. We have pumpkin pie and pecan pie best of all we have lemon ma rang. At the end of the day we all gather around the TV and watch some football. We alwas have a vegataren turkey for my dad but I alwas hav some of it. We go to Mobab,Utah for thankes giving and their condoes are amazing. That is why thankes giving is my favorite holaday.

ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is one of my favorite holiday because I am with my family. The smell of the turkey out of the oven is like the best thing that I have ever smelled. I hear my family talking to each other. On my first bite of food it is so good that I wonder what the pumpken pie will taste like.

Every Thanksgiving I go to Steamboat and stay in an condo with my family.I see the steam rising from the hot spring and skiiers. I hear horns of cars honking and the kids playing in the snow. I taste the sweet exotic gelato from the ice cream shopp that is two blocks away and the mushy,salty mash potatoes. I smell the greasy gravy and the perfectly seasoned turkey and stuffing. I joyful and sad to leave. That is a typical Thanksgiving for me.

On Thanksgiving I usally see everyone smiling watching football.I hear my favorite team score a tuchdown.I feel my hand tuching the turky as I help my mom stuff it. I smell the beautiful food set on our table.I see us playing football in the mornnig in the naborhood with our nabors at the end of the day we feast on thanksgiving turkey/dinner.

I love these smells because they remind me its the holiday season every minuet of the day.I see all my family including my Mom,Dad ,Sisters, and my Nana. I love these times of joy with them. They make me feel hapy and joyful. I also see all the family working together to make the amazing meal.I touch the the forlks,spoons,and placemats as I set the table for all my family. I taste the food as it sits in front of me. It is juciy in my mouth stuffing me up, the turkey,green beans,rolls potatoas and more are very tasty! I feel the most joy I've ever felt in my whole life with all my family suronding me. I embrace every minuet of them being with me. It truly is the hapiest time of the year.

I see my family smiling as we pass around the turkey. As the turkey comes around the table to me. It tastes like hot heaven in my mouth. Then the mashed potatos come around. My mouth starts to water. After we had our fill they brought out the apple pie. I could already taste it. The apple pie smells warm and welcoming. I see the look on my friends and family. Their happy souls seem to fill this years Thanksgiving with love.

We use almost very chair in the house. I hear the loud happy and thankful conversations that go on on Thanksgiving. The taste of apple pie sizzling in my mouth makes me drool even thinking about it. The smell of every delicious food coming out of the oven is unbearably awesome! And finally, the feel of a family get together being the best feeling in the world!

I look around and see everyone smiling as happy as can be. They grab a plate and pick out their favorite foods. I take a deep breath in and exhale. I look out the window and red, brown, yellow, and orange, covering the ground. I close my eyes and whisper,"Thank you for my family, annoying but fun brothers, my adorable sister, and my family and friends." My warm breath fogs up the window and I take my finger and draw a smiley face. I know this will be a great Thanksgiving or as my sister would say," Gobble Gobble Im hungry." I hope that next year Thanksgiving will be this amazing. I feel so happy and greatful for all the food and family I have. I feel warm and snuggly inside, but thats probualy because I just took a huge bite of a piece of pie. I love the sweet taste of Pumpkin Pie and Whipped Cream melting in my mouth. Sometimes you dont notice how lucky you are until you lose something you should have been grateful for. HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

It's a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Everything is going my way. I love the fluffy creamy taste of stuffing. My family is very loving. I smell the smell of apple pie. It makes my want to touch the sky. My giant family in one place. As i pass around i hear the laughter all around simles on every face. As we take our seats at the giant table we all thank the lord for this wonderfull meal. Dish by dish comes around everything is so delicious. Finally the huge turkey comes around. I yake a giant slice then i smother it with gravy. I hear the yells and shouts of the adults watching football, I hear children running around and laughing, I can hear happiness in tghe air. I taste the great, big, yummy taste of some pumpkin pie, I taste a can of cranbrerries, I sip a great big sip of soda, I taste yummuy things. I smell the awesome smell of food. So much food! I can smell ice cream in the freezer, this old weird smelling basement, a spilled soda, the great big turkey! On Thanksgiving I taste amazing food like turkey and stuffing and all sorts of pies. I smell a lovly scent of a stuffing and cranberry sause mixture. I hear everybody chatting as we pass aroung the food. The cranberry sauce makes my mouth water as I stare at it on the other side of the table. I smell the pumpkin pie in the fridge from PERKINS. I want to skip right to dessert. After dinner I am as stuffed as a turkey. I think of how thankful I am to have all of this yummy food.

I see everyone in my family that lives in Colorado hurrying around the kitchen, trying to get the feast on the large table. Mom's the best at cooking poultry, with great spices and recipies. Dad makes stuffing, all buttery and delicious. Everyone makes something and it comes together. The smells make my mouth water and pretty soon my cousins and I are staring at the beautifully prepared food. There's turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy (my FAVORITE). After I've eaten my fill, I play and talk until pie, ice crean and other desserts are served. Everybody talking, laughing, telling stories, and catching up makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. Everything is perfect.

On Thanksgiving I go over to my grandmas house. We eat dinner, play kickball, and eat great dessert. The dessert is the best it tastes so juicy and sweet. I feel awesome when our team plays kickball and wins. My grandma makes the best gravy you could smell it from 40 miles away. I Hear great sounds of kids playing and fall sounds. That is my usual Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteMy tipacal Thanksgiving goes like this. I wake up and smell my Moms wonderful food cooking, then I get up and eat my delicous Thanksgiving breakfast. Then I watch the Football Thanksgiving special with lots of sound and fun. Afterwards we start putting up our Christmas decorations. I smell the amazing smell of the Christmas tree. Then we either stay home or go to my grandamas house whitch is 5 minuites away, and eat and celebrate! I feel the warm utensules and the plate. Then we eat, I taste the delicious food and hear the laghter and song of the table mebers. I feel so happy and thankful on Thanksgiving. And that is my tipical thanksgiving.
